It was a beautiful day in the Midlands of SC today, with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70's, I decided to take a day off, enjoy the outside and get some yard work done. Usually cleaning up leaves, limbs, and picking up is not the way I want to spend a Saturday afternoon but today turned out to be a good day.
Spending the afternoon outside with my 9 yr old son was very relaxing and was good for both of us. We worked and enjoyed the afternoon which was the best refreshment I could have asked for. I feel better mentally and will be ready to get back to the job.
If you haven't STOPPED your schedule for a day to relax and refuel, "Dr" Bridges prescribes a day off (YES A DAY OFF) with plenty of time to enjoy the spring weather. I know, some of you will have to wait a month or so for the snow to melt but PLAN AHEAD. Take a day, work in the yard, go to the park, just get out and enjoy a beautiful day to refresh and get a fresh start this spring.
